Revelstoke Mountain Resort: British Columbia’s Hot New Ski Destination
Announcing British Columbia’s hottest new mountain resort. Leave it to Outside Magazine to get the skinny on Revelstoke, where world-class skiing and fresh powder can be found everyday– whether by lift (there’s a high-speed quad traveling 2,073 vertical feet in 6.3 minutes), snowcat (for the impressive off-piste slopes), or helicopter (where guides take avid skiers to secluded spots in the Selkirk and Monashee mountains). Situated on Mount Mackenzie, Revelstoke Mountain Resort offers 500,000 acres of skiable terrain. The place to stay will be the swanky Nelsen Lodge, located just steps from the lifts and heli-center. There’s a heated pool and four-bedroom penthouse, to boot. (Opening date for the hotel not yet announced.) The lifts open on December 22, 2007.
Umm. the Nelson Lodge will not be finished until the winter of 2009! I am under the impression that it is all private condos too. There are plenty of places to chose from in Revelstoke though. The lifts are currently being built and include a gondola.

Just to clarify things the condos that are under construction are when not in use by its owners will be up for occupancy by the general public like a hotel. so you are correct that any person that wants to stay at Nelson lodge will be able to.

How does one arrange to rent at the condos? it’s unclear whether the they are still under construction, and even “available.”

The Condos at Revelstoke Mountain Resort are still under construction and the first building is do to be finished for the 2008/2009 season.
and yes it is called Nelsen lodge and too the Gondola is to be extended down to the village area as well and there will be more access for intermediate and beginer runs.
