several weeks after Adour was open, my friend and i planned to go to the restaurant to check it out and have some drinks and desserts i called up the restaurant to make reservations and the hostess told me that i don’t need to make any reservations since i will be having desserts and drinks only and that i can have a seat at the bar or lounge area which was totally fine…my friend and i were feeling really excited to go to Adour we got there 45 min after i have spoken to the hostess. When we got there the Maitr’d didnt want to give me a table or a place to sit for JUST desserts…he actually started escorting me to the other restaurant on the same floor in St Regis..and i told him what are you doing?! he said he will seat me at the other restaurant…i told him but i want to have my dessert at ADOUR i already looked at the menu from the website i know what i want. After arguing with him for about 2 minutes..he let me inside…he was very rude and UNPROFFESIONAL….at first i thought maybe he was a racist the way he was treating me and kicking me out with out giving me a reason why i can’t have a dessert at Adour…I was speaking to him very kindly but the way he treated me still bothers me.
