Loews Hotels Extends “Baggage Buy Back” Incentive: Get Reimbursed for Airline Luggage Fee
Alas, most major carriers are demanding fees for checked bags these days (Continental just joined the club). Loews Hotels to the rescue. The luxury hotel chain has just announced that it will extend its popular “Baggage Buy Back” incentive through November 30, 2008. Launched in the spring to help beleaguered travelers deal with rising travel costs, the program provides reimbursement for the the checked luggage fee. Simply present your airline baggage fee receipt when checking into your favorite Loews Hotel in the U.S. or Canada, and you’ll get the rebate– issued in the form of a credit on your bill upon check-out. Loews will offer credits for up to two bags, for a max of $30 per room, per stay. Bravo.
