Germans Design the “Hotel Room of the Future”
…And it’s all about relaxation. Scientists at the Fraunhofer Institute in Duisburg, Germany have incorporated all the latest technology and gadgets to give guests the ultimate comfort. Watch this video to have a peek at the “hotel room of the future.” Forget boxy rooms. A rounded space (no hard edges) was found to be more relaxing, along with changing light colors. (Guests can choose the color that’s most soothing.) At the touch of a switch, the bed can gently rock guests to sleep. A wall of windows morphs into a television. Sensors trigger lights, so no more stumbling around in the dark in the middle of the night in search of the loo. And the bathroom? More like a spa.
