InterContinental Kansas City at the Plaza Completes Renovation
The $15 million dollar renovation is complete at the Intercontinental Kansas City at the Plaza. A complete restoration of all 366 guest rooms and public spaces over the past few months has left the hotel in tip-top shape. Each guest room has been completely refurbished with custom-designed furniture and luxurious guest room accessories. Think 32″ flat screen TVs, over-sized work desks, floor-to-ceiling windows with walk-out balconies, wireless internet and a lounge chair complete with ottoman. Also undergoing renovations were the Oak Room Restaurant, Oak Bar, and the Lobby. The InterContinental Kansas City was chosen by Travel and Leisure Magazine readers as one of the “Worlds Best Business Hotels 2007.”
