W Hotels Arrives in the City of Light: W Paris-Opera Planned for 2011
Hot off the press. W Hotels has announced that it will expand its luxury lifestyle brand to the heart of Paris with the debut of W Paris-Opéra in 2011. Right next to all the grands magasins (like Galleries Lafayette) and big boulevards, W will take over an 1870s Haussmann-era building and transform it into a decadent boutique hotel with 90 guest rooms. To be sure, the W will bring with it a signature lounge and cutting-edge resto and attract a glamorous scene to its destination bar. W Hotels is planning to triple its footprint by 2011.
