The World’s Hottest Hotels: Capella Ixtapa (Special Introductory Rates Available)

There’s been lots of buzz about the super-swank hotel that opened in Ixtapa late last year. Situated between Mexico’s Sierra Madre mountains and the Pacific in an idyllic setting, the 59-suite Capella Ixtapa is perched on a cliff overlooking the azure sea. The latest media shout-out is from Travel Agent Magazine, which named the ultra-lux property to its annual list of “Hot New Hotels” for its ocean-facing rooms boasting terraces and private plunge pools. You can sail, snorkel, hike, or indulge in a signature treatment at the luxurious spa, drawing from local customs and indigenous flora.

Simply put, service is stellar, with loads of complimentary amenities: welcome gift, bikes to explore the village, live entertainment in the bar, access to the fitness center, nightly turndown service, bottled water and soft drinks in the refreshment center, and enhanced poolside service. For a limited time, you can take advantage of a special introductory rate and get pampered like royalty for just $350 per night at Capella Ixtapa.
