Pet Airways: Pamper Rex with First-Class Travel on the World’s First Pet-Only Airline
Don’t relegate Rex to the cargo hold. With Pet Airways, your furry friend can get VIP treatment in the main cabin on a pet-only airline. But pets prone to separation anxiety may not be wholly satisfied with this unique travel arrangement; owners can’t accompany their animals on the aircraft. Still, from the looks of the Facebook fan page, $149 fares are getting snatched up for the airline’s July 2009 launch. Proof perhaps that the pet industry is recession-proof.
