The hotel building boom in Las Vegas has certainly proved to be a boon for travelers. A glut of hotels– including the brand new ones everyone’s talking about (ie. Mandarin Oriental and Vdara)– means room rates are being slashed to fill empty rooms. Case in point: $65 room rates at the M Resort Spa Casino, the talk of the town when it opened in March. The fantastical luxury resort is now being eclipsed by the even newer kids on the block. Rooms here are downright lavish with some of the best views in Vegas. This special deal is available for week-days through December 29, 2009. You’ll get a kick out of the giant Christmas tree and hand-made gingerbread display in the lobby.
