Destination Florida Keys: Cheeca Lodge is Back
Just days ago, the Cheeca Lodge re-opened in the Florida Keys after a serious fire forced its closure on New Year’s Eve last year. Over the past 11 months, the resort has undergone a massive transformation. Two new restaurants and bars, a brand spanking new main lodge built according to LEED specifications, sparkling new guest rooms… Cheeca Lodge is back. For a taste of the tropics this winter, escape to Cheeca Lodge to lounge on the secluded private beach, get a massage in an Oceanside Tiki Hut, snooze in a hammock, or fish off the end of the pier. We like the sound of the Poolside Cabanas equipped with flat screen plasma TVs, wireless Internet access, and refrigerators stocked with bottled spring water and fresh fruit. Did we mention the personal butler service? To celebrate their grand re-opening, the resort is promising exceptional special rates and special offers.
