Over at Five Star Alliance we’ve unveiled to the world our first list of what we consider to be the world’s best luxury hotels for families. We figured that we were recommending these hotels so often, we might as well publish a list of our favorites.

Which is better - The Homestead or the Greenbrier? Or even Nemacolin Woods? They are all around the same area and somewhat similar … but I wouldn’t know which of the 3 is really the best for children.
Check out theBreakers in Palm Beach. The recently built Children’s center there, free standing building, movie theater, games, crafts, Italian Restaurant is probably the best children’s facility of any hotel in the world.
I agree, The Breakers hotel is by far one of the best hotels in the world for children. I’m actually suprised it’s not listed on your website as one of the best for families.
The babysitting is beyond exceptional, and very trustworthy as well.
We are looking for something fabulous for our family of 4 (children 9&12) for Tuscany.

Sounds fantastic. What season are you looking to travel? Any specific activities that your family enjoys? One of my favorites is Villa Olmi, right outside Florence– you can combine daytrips to the beautiful city with excursions in the countryside.

the four seasons chain and esp the four seasons palm beach is great for kids. in london i would recommend the berkeley. i would stay away from their recommendation of the athenaeum.

Best family hotel! Most amazing pool and also great accommodation where they provide similar to a 2 bedroom apartment, great for us travelling as a family, avoids the connecting rooms and very spacious, also great location, next to Wangfujing which is fantastic for shopping and yet the best part, especially on a family trip is that the hotel is just 15min walk to Forbidden City & Tian an Men Square. - Really outstanding for families.

The Radisson Mall of America in Bloomington, MN is absolutely wonderful for families…many rooms have not only pull-out sleeper sofas but built in bunk beds as well, some feature balconies overlooking the incredible indoor waterpark. Lots of fun and beautiful, retro-style rooms!
