The World’s Best Beach Resorts
Over at Five Star Alliance we’ve unveiled to the world our first list of what we consider to be the world’s best beach resorts. We figured that we were recommending these hotels so often, we might as well publish a list of our favorites.
We’re sure this will stir up some passion with our readers. After checking out our recommendations, be sure to come on back and drop us a comment with your own ideas. What did we miss?
I think that Four Seasons Nevis is one of the most romantic beach resorts. The island is not touristy and the service by the staff is exceptional. They are so gracious and hospitable. the resort has both top rated golf and an incredible spa. Perfect for an island escape to paradise.
Which one is better - the Four Seasons Nevis or the Four Seasons Resort Maui? Does Maui have a better beach and the Nevis resort more of a romantic/honeymoon location? (I’ve never visited either, but I know that the Four Seasons Maui made the list).
I belive one of best beach resort in asia is sandoway resort in myanmar.
I really enjoyed the Fairmont Kea Lani at Wailea, Maui, Hawaii. The suites are superb and reasonable when compared to others. The service is very good and the location is top notch.
Looks like a good list you have put together. I hesitate to contribute because I`d rather keep Punta del Este in Uruguay the unspoilt remarkable place it is.

I would like to reccomend Waikiki Beach in Honolulu, Oahu, Hawaii as the most exotic and beautiful place I’ve ever been. The hotel was wonderful and the beach just amazing.
I have been to both the Four Seasons Maui and the Four Seasons Hualalai (on the Big Island) and the latter is SOOO much better! (The two on the island of Lanai are also lovely.) The Hualalai is perhaps my favorite resort on the planet (receiving top ranking even among the best resorts in Fiji, Tahiti, and the like) and deserves a spot on your list!
I want to give my complements to the four seasons hotel in Punta Mita Mexico. The Hotel is beutiful the rooms and suites are great and the service is the best I have ever had. The property and the surrounding is unmatched and the beach, in november was warm and beautifull.
The One & Only St Geran and Le Toussrok, by far the best beach resort hotels in the world! After having been to 3 Aman hotels, Sandy Lane Barbados, various resorts in the Carribean, I have become quite fussy. Great service, beautiful settings, great golf, amazin spas, good food (1 star michelin) and good beaches.
I believe Jumeirah Beach Hotel to be world-class
I have visited many resorts/hotels in Hawaii and I believe The Fairmont Orchid is by far the best on the Kohala Coast. I think everyone who travels to Hawaii should stay there at least once. You get the BEST sevice and personalized attention on that end. Your accomodations are exceptional, the beach is breath taking, the breakfast is by far the best on the Big Island and the lagoon is exceptional.
My biggest compliment to the Abama Resort in Tenerife. After 3 times visit can I just say: the personal is poilte and helpful, do everything for a perfeckt holiday or business trip as well… would recommend it to everybody!
Burj Al Arab is the best hotel ever !

The Ritz Carlton on Amelia Island
One of the best hotels ever and certainly one of the best eating places in the world. Chef Richard Gras and his team fix the most divine meals I have ever eaten, “Salt the Grill,”
Is tops.
I also think ” Four Seasons Resort” in Nevis (ST.Kitts & Nevis) has one of the best hotels I’ve since. The setting, including beach resort and gulf course along with high customer service standards makes it one of a kind. The lovely paradise Isle!!!

I think the denarau island resort is one of the best beach resorts ever. secluded from the noise and all.
The Denarau is in the Fiji Islands.

St Regis Hotel Bora Bora. This is an absolutely incredible experience from the huts over the water to the 1200 threadcount sheets to the 5 star service and privacy. The most relaxing, romantic, secluded and flavorful experiences ever.
Also Little Dix Bay on Virgin Gorda. Incredible spot and while you are laying on a raft in the water Jimmy the Beach valet will personally deliver your drink to you in the water of this private cove. Should you want to take a shopping spree to St Thomas you could stay at Caneel Bay which is owned by the same company and take advantage of all that St Thomas has to offer for a couple of days and then go back to Little Dix Bay. Which ever way you go it will truly be an experience to remember.
The Burj…??? Please noooo. Its in the Gulf! Go to where the smiles are real, the unbelievable island resort of Pangkor Laut Malaysia. I couldn’t afford it the first time I went, and it got more expensive on each of the two successive holidays, but worth every penny. Absolute paradise.

I really think that Discovery at Marigot Bay St Lucia is a hidden treasure. It really should be a top featured hotel
I think the Bacara Resort & Spa is the most beautiful and peaceful place in Santa Barbara Ca. It is a 6 star service with a beautiful colonial architecture and is 5 minutes from the Santa Barbara airport, it should be considered the best resort in CA.
I love the movenpick in phuket thailand!!!
I think the Somerset in Turks and Caicos is the most beautiful resort. Also, Royal West Indies in the Turks and Caicos.
I think that One&Only Resorts are the best you can find in terms of luxury and service.
Reethi Rah in Maldives is probably one of the best beach resorts I ever stayed in. I moreover recommend you Bulgari Hotel in Bali : truly paradise on earth.
Bora Bora is the most beautiful and roomantic place on earth!!! And its natives know how to serve and live Truely a paradise!!!

VERY PRIVATE,VERY BEST LUXURY RESORT IN THE WORLD.
Why isn’t Boca Raton Resort & Club included they have spent 220 million renovating and redisigning it. The rooms upon entering are breathtaking and the entire hotel and service and ambiance is magical in iteslf. I had a spectacular ocean front view and it was the best luxurious hotel I have ever experieced. My first 5 star hotel.
