Over at Five Star Alliance we’ve unveiled to the world our first list of what we consider to be the world’s best honeymoon resorts. We figured that we were recommending these hotels so often, we might as well publish a list of our favorites.
We’re sure this will stir up some passion with our readers. After checking out our recommendations, be sure to come on back and drop us a comment with your own ideas. What did we miss?
My vote is for Sandals Whitehouse, Jamaica. I Was surprised this was not on your list.
But are Sandals hotels really the height of luxury? In a place where you have something so amazing like Half Moon or the Jamaica Inn, does Sandals fit?
Maybe it does, I’m just not sure.
So far, the best Honeymoon, most romantic hotel I’ve found is the Banyan Tree Hotel in Seychelles Is.

Just about any resort in the Maldives will top anywhere else you may have been. My wife and I stayed at the Hilton and it was everything and more.
I suggest Jade Mountain at Anse Chastanet in St. Lucia….. awesome rooms with in room infinity pools and fantastic views of the Pitons and Carribbean….. unbelievable romantic setting…
best honeymoon resort is the motor home in New Zealand, sleep and awaken in the most beautiful parts of the world right outside your window. Gorgeous landscapes surround you everyday. A most enjoyable and relaxing way to start your married life.
The Datai Langkawi, best honeymoon hotel in the world, by a long shot!!! cannot be beaten for pure luxury and an unbeatable surrounding, beach, atmosphere , roomd, food, ambience, and je ne sais quos!!! cannot wait to return…the most special hotel we have ever encountered.
I would say the Carambola Beach Resort located in St. Criox USVI, It is very relaxing.
The luxury suites are appointed with cool granite and marble throughout. Rich dark wood furniture, private veranda, King size beds, full size refrigerator, microwave, porcelain top stove, dishwasher, wall-mounted flat-screen T.V.s, pull-out sleeper sofa, ceiling fans, in-room safe, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, coffeemaker, and oversized marble shower are just some of the highlights of our new suites.
The best honeymoon hotel for me is the promisedland resort & lagoon, in Haulien, Taiwan, R.O.C.,
The nice & romantic honeymoon suites are all face beautiful lagoon.
You also can take the water taxi go around the all resort.

The best honeymoon resort has to be the Hilton Maldives.
The deluxe water villas are amazing.
The resort has the most restaurants in the maldives, lots of activities and amazing and very helpful staff and locals.

My vote goes to the classic ………………….. Burj Al Arab — Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Orpheus Island on the Great Barrier Reef, Australia.
No children under fifteen, very small, very exclusive and expensive. Focus is on understated elegance — unobtrusive buy elegant.
I totally agree with vote for Banyan Tree Seychelles. So intimate, relaxing, and beautiful! Just wish it wasn’t soooooo expensive for everything.
My runner-up vote goes for the Four Seasons Tented Camp in Thailand for those looking for luxury with more activity.
My favorite honeymoon hotel is, with no doubts, Ponta dos Ganchos! They only have few bungalows, they only accept people over 18 years old and all time you feel like is just you and your wife in the resort, as it is very very exclusive. And luxurious… is exactly the phrase: ‘love is in the air’ everywhere!!!
Little Palm Island on the Florida Keys is the most romantic secluded luxury resort and spa in the United States..there is nothing in America that comapres to it ..and believe me, we have searched everywhere…Dinner at Sunset on the beach, crisp linens, sparlking crystal, the ocean only feet from the table, 5 star cusine, and a romantic candle lit turn down a waits in your private thatched bungalow, strewn with rose petals should you wish !! Good luck getting a reservation , with only room for 60 guests on this private Island at a time… I can’t belive it didn’t come up on this web site..we are searching for a simlar luxury, money no object experience on mainland USA, but NOTHING compares to Little Palm Island !
For our honeymoon we visited North Island (Seychelles). Though the rates are huge (approx. 4500 US a night, it is absolutely worth every cent!! Only twenty or so guests, private butler and a villa of 450 sp metres on one of the most beautiful islands in the world.I do not understand how this could be missed by an organisation that claims to do its research. Go and have a look and you will absolutely agree with us!

The best resort for a honeymoon (and where we went) is the One & Only Palmilla Resort in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Absolutely breathtaking!
